Spectra is accepting applications for a Traveling Tower Tech 1. This is a full-time position and is fully benefited.
speThe Telecom Tower Technician 1 installs, constructs, maintains, and operates wired, wireless, fiber optic, microwave telecommunications equipment and 2-way radio systems. The technician provides support in the installation, maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecommunication site infrastructures. The Tower Technician 1 is crucial to ensure the best possible customer experience and will be a first respondent during any threats to the network or natural disasters. Working in extreme temperatures, working at heights above 300’, and traveling are required. This position's schedule varies depending on the project but is typically between 40-50 hours per week with weekends off. Weekday travel is required, and per diem is paid while staying out of town.
