STRATA Networks is excited to announce that the proceeds from their 16th Annual Charity Golf Classic will be donated to KLiC (Keeping Love in Communities). The tournaments will take place on May 12th at the Roosevelt City Golf Course & May 19th at the Vernal Dinaland Golf Course.
Both tournaments will consist of a morning & afternoon flight and will follow a shotgun start, four-person scramble format. Golfers in both flights will be treated to a barbecue lunch, free range, and gift vouchers for free gear. There will also be opportunities to participate in a mobile silent auction & raffle, hole-in-one contests, and other activities throughout the course. STRATA’s tournament is one of the first local tournaments of the season and spots fill up quickly each year. Over the past 16 years, more than $120,000 has been raised at STRATA’s Charity Golf Classics - all of which has stayed local, supporting non-profit organizations right here in the Uintah Basin. In past years, proceeds have been donated to local entities including Victims Advocacy Groups, Search & Rescue Squads, local food pantries, and childhood & youth educational programs. This year, STRATA is looking forward to supporting KLiC, a very valuable resource in the Uintah Basin.
KLiC helps individuals in the Uintah Basin who are fighting cancer by providing supplemental assistance including gas vouchers for travel to treatments or doctor appointments, overnight accommodation for treatments, and gift cards for groceries or household utilities. The organization has been supporting the Uintah Basin since 2010 and is made up of 100% volunteers, relying fully on fundraising & community donations.
