Emergency Broadband Benefit Program
As of May 12, 2021, eligible households will be able to enroll in the program to receive a monthly discount off the cost of broadband service from an approved provider. Eligible households can enroll through an approved provider or by visiting getemergencybroadband.org.
This program is a temporary subsidy that reduces a customer’s broadband service. Once this program concludes, customers will be subject to general rates, terms and conditions if they wish to continue to subscribe to that service.
Emergency Broadband Benefit

Eligible Broadband Plans
The Emergency Broadband Benefit provides a monthly discount for broadband service up to $50 per eligible household, or up to $75 per eligible household on Tribal lands. The discount will be applied to your broadband service, but the ultimate cost to you will depend on the eligible plan you select from a participating provider.
Emergency Broadband Benefit Program Length
The Emergency Broadband Benefit is an emergency program developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The program will end once the program funds are exhausted, or six months after the Department of Health and Human Services declares an end to the pandemic, whichever comes first.
Emergency Broadband Benefit Connected Devices
STRATA customers enrolled in the EBB Program can purchase the Lenovo Tab M8 tablet and the EBB funds will reduce the cost of that device by $100. To take advantage of this benefit, you must contribute the remaining portion of the cost.
